UniReady

The UniReady in Schools Program is an academic pathway designed to prepare Year 11 and Year 12 students for successful entry into higher education. The program provides students with the essential skills and knowledge required for university-level studies, including academic literacy, numeracy, critical thinking, and discipline-specific concepts and principles.

Students who complete the UniReady Program will meet Curtin University’s minimum admission criteria of a 70 ATAR and English language proficiency. The program consists of four units: two core units and two optional units.

Core Units

  • PWRP0001: Fundamentals of Academic Writing (25 credits)
  • COMS0002: Foundations of Communication (25 credits)

Optional Units 

  • HUMN0001: Introduction to Humanities (25 credits)
  • MGMT0001: Introduction to Commerce (25 credits)
  • BIOL0001: Introduction to Health Sciences (25 credits)
  • MATH0003: Mathematics Basics (25 credits)
