Welcome to the website of Armadale Senior High School – a proud Independent Public School. It is my great privilege to welcome you to our school community.
Armadale Senior High School has served the diverse Armadale community since opening in 1953. Situated on Noongar Boodjar, the school site is located at the base of the picturesque Darling Range, just under 30 kilometres south of Perth. With over 65 years of history, Armadale Senior High School has developed strong family and community connections. We expect all members of the school community to contribute positively towards the wellbeing of our students and the sustainment of a strong culture of teaching and learning. In this environment we believe that all students can find success and we empower them to ‘aspire, strive and achieve’ in all areas.
Our school offers highly enriched pathways for students depending on their needs, skills and interests. This includes our newly-formed ‘Aspire’ academic extension program, as well as Department of Education endorsed Specialist Programs in the Visual Arts & Technologies. The school is proud to host a range of Vocational Education & Training (VET) courses with direct links to the workforce; including access to hands-on, industry-level training in the hospitality, automotive and engineering sectors.
Our innovative and well-resourced facilities include a trade-training (pre-vocational) centre, large sports hall complex, specialist science laboratories and a commercial kitchen/industrial hospitality centre. The co-located Armadale Education Support Centre (ESC) shares these excellent facilities; as well as our school values of inclusivity, mutual respect, success and resilience. Students throughout both schools are encouraged to perform to their highest standard across all learning areas.
I invite you to get to know our school further by exploring our website.
